Beata Drozd studied at Central St.Martins College of Art and Design in London and Ecole Superieure des Arts Decoratifs, Paris between 1991 and 1996. She was born in Gdansk, Poland and currently lives in London.

2000 Comissioned to create a photographic record of a new treatment for patients suffering from HIV - AIDS. This included more than 1000 photographic images, paintings and drawings of patients and members of their families undergoing treatment in USA and Mexico.
